The indigenous people sometimes say "this is good medicine" whether speaking about a stone, a feather, a teaching, a place, or a person.  They might say this person has "good medicine," or this person is a "medicine person," meaning they have a skill or ability that helps people feel better.  Perhaps they have some valuable knowledge to share.  I sometimes call my shamanic classes "medicine classes.”  I have found that "Hummingbird Medicine" is "good medicine" for the modern times.  In the Andean tradition that I teach there is a legend that hummingbirds are the bringers of nectar from God’s garden, bringing the nectar of light & joy from the Heavens to the people.
