Three Hummingbirds Academy

Our Mission:  Three Hummingbirds Academy exists to help people awaken their innate capacity for healing by walking a path of sacred reciprocity, nature-based wisdom, and self-mastery. Through the teachings of the Andean tradition, guided practice, and compassionate mentorship, we remember that healing is not a destination—it is a lifelong journey. We walk this path together, one step, one breath, and one act of Ayni at a time.

The Seven Principles of Three Hummingbirds Academy

1. Walk in Ayni. Live in sacred reciprocity with all beings.
2. Honor Experience. Direct experience is one of our greatest teachers.
3. Walk Gently. Treat yourself, others, and the Earth with kindness and respect.
4. Remain Curious. Growth begins with an open heart and an open mind.
5. Practice Self-Mastery. Healing is an ongoing relationship with ourselves.
6. Serve with Compassion. As we heal, we naturally become better able to help others.
7. Never Stop Walking. There is always another horizon, another lesson, another opportunity to evolve.
   
   
   The indigenous people sometimes say "this is good medicine" whether speaking about a stone, a feather, a teaching, a place, or a person.  They might say this person has "good medicine," or this person is a "medicine person," meaning they have a skill or ability that helps people feel better.  Perhaps they have some valuable knowledge to share.  I sometimes call my shamanic classes "medicine classes.”  I have found that "Hummingbird Medicine" is "good medicine" for the times we are in. They have much wisdom to share in this regard and I believe they can help us bring in the prophecy of a new age, a shift in the consciousness of humanity.  In the Andean tradition that I teach there is a legend that hummingbirds are the bringers of nectar from "the Creator's garden," bringing the nectar of light & joy from the Heavens to the people.
